Chrome & Heart Pilot — Founding Sponsors Welcome
Speaking at the North West club Presidents meeting
Video Explaining The Series
Staying True to the Vision
Chrome and Heart has already been presented to “television production companies, generating valuable industry discussions about the project’s potential.
Some suggested re-imagining the series as a Big Brother-style reality show, with motorcycle clubs competing against one another.
While we appreciate the interest and the creative input, that is not the story we set out to tell.
Chrome and Heart was created to give motorcycle clubs and riders the opportunity to tell their own stories, in their own words, offering viewers an authentic insight into the culture, the people, the responsibilities, and the values that exist behind the public perception.
Our goal is not to create conflict for entertainment.
Our goal is to create understanding.
Supporting the Chrome & Heart Pilot
The series moves beyond stereotypes to document the people behind the patches — the traditions, responsibilities, charity work, and loyalty that define motorcycle club life.
Each episode focuses on:
• At least one motorcycle club
• One leadership role or story
• One original song that anchors the narrative
The result is a powerful UNSCRIPTED series about identity, community, and respect within the motorcycle world.
Current Production Stage
We are currently raising funds to a pilot episode (sizzle) that will be used to present the series to broadcasters and streaming platforms.
Filming access has already been secured with motorcycle clubs, and the project continues to gain support within the riding community.
To complete the pilot episode, we are inviting a limited number of Founding Sponsors and Early Partners to help support production.
Why a Sizzle Reel?
Television is a visual medium. Before broadcasters or streaming platforms commission a series, they need to see the tone, storytelling, and production style. The sizzle reel will demonstrate the vision of Chrome and Heart and serve as the project’s official presentation piece for industry partners.
What Your Sponsorship Helps Fund
Producing a high-quality documentary pilot requires professional filming, travel, and post-production work.
Support from founding sponsors helps fund the following pilot production costs:
• Travel to motorcycle clubs and filming locations
• Camera and audio equipment for interviews and ride footage
• Editing and post-production of the pilot episode
• Music production for the Chrome & Heart soundtrack
• Distribution materials used to present the series to broadcasters and streaming platforms
Every contribution helps move the project closer to completion and brings the stories of South African motorcycle clubs to a wider audience.
Founding sponsors will be acknowledged as early supporters of the project on the Chrome & Heart website and within the pilot episode credits.

What happens after the Sizzle?
